We were always coming here. It is a stunning town in the newly formed straight out of the mountain Sorgue river which is split to encircle the town and has water mills galore and crystal clear water with green reeds.

We have parked in a free aire about 500 m from the town and only walked to the TO and back for these first set of photos. I will add more over next couple of days as there is a market in the morning and I reckon some nice night time photos later.

The aire is beside a very unused skatepark, but alas, the water supply for skaters has been turned off. There are 4 3 pin supplies for electric for skaters and I reckon if you had a 25m cable you could do the dishonourable thing and see if it worked ! Unsure where the water is in the cemetery on the other side 😏

The water of the Sorgue is quite cold, as in 5 minutes wading up to your knees means 3 minutes later you can feel your toes again. In order to test your inner wim hoff the picnic spot with wading is where the waters part to go round the town called le partage des eau 43.9162061, 5.0720073 we had a wade on the way back.

Last night we had a lovely walk round the town. It was bordering on sweltering during the day and you would have been a fool if you were anything more than loose t shirt and shorts in the evening. Numerous riverside restaurants mainly full and a Michelin one marked 4 brimming.

This morning in sweltering conditions and absolutely rammed, the market was less enthralling. It is a huge market but people stopping and the amount of designer dogs with the heat didn't make it much fun. The brocante on the outside was far more amenable with less footfall and more space. The car park we are staying at was rammed.
