Whatever you do, try not to annoy the natives by taking the D17 from pont D'argens even if your sat nav says so.
It's not overly concerning but a number of right hand blind tight corners with protruding rocks force a rhd out to middle of road to see and this caused incoming motorists concern enough to wave their arms. Being polite, I waved back. It is a 3.5 limit and we are under 3.5.
Our only real reason for coming here was planning for the next 4,5,6 days.
We are going to do ste Maxime port grimaud, st Tropez pampelonne then le lavendou and finding free aires may be a task too much.....or is it ? So we need an empty loo, full water and a brimming lithium battery. We got a headache finding closed aires so bit the 14.36 CCP price. Went out for a cycle having followed the signs to the out of the way aire (but it isn't if walking or cycling).and returned to have a look at the town.
To our annoyance on the main street is a toilet and grey waste. Water works for draining excess black away but not for filling up or rinsing https://maps.app.goo.gl/5hQyQbYa1qboEXh39
Then there was a shop.
It wasn't looking great but there was a vineyard cave down the road worthy of investigation and it looks like a cycle path is being built opposite a big boulodrome competition which we watched for 20 minutes.
Wine was in the 5-9 euro bracket so a white and rose purchased. But we saw village disco tonight at la place de la Marie. So off into the pretty part of town to locate them setting up.
That's us sorted for the night.
My back was significantly better following a herbal remedy but the chairs didn't suit me for sitting down long but 4 beers each, kebab chips and a crepe and boogying on our table a good night was had.
