Another cold one today, but with the assistance of a small electric heater in the back we were unstoppable! Removed the bulkhead and floor, cleaned and rust cured any spots in need, and after one (mildly expensive) trip to Wickes I now have floor insulation and enough plywood to make a start on the walls 
treated the old floor against mold ready to be put back down, started winding down for the night however in a last minute strike of energy I added some insulation to the walls. The van now looks slightly clinical, but sometimes things have to get worse to get better! Cheers!
