Cycling from our base at Badarrides to Joncquieres this place was in the way. As we were passing it from the other side of the motorway we could see what looked like a huge castle which intrigued us enough to stop and investigate.
Senses were heightened when we come across a portent and fountain at the entrance
So we went in and we're extremely disappointed with the totally no character town. The outside flattered to deceive and the inside was a let down.
We found the "castle" walls and they are just a wall. They do light it up at night.
The church was all right (or better than my photography)
So we left in our way via a shed load of roadworks and hey ho it got prettier
