We have come to a stell about 7 KMs up the 30 road from Friedrichschafen advertised at 15 euros but in reality 18 this year but it suits our needs for 3 nights.
We couldn't decision make til we knew the situation with the bike and this ticked the box and a journal entry of its own will be incoming as we stay here 3 nights.
We got here and went straight down friedrichschafen which is 7 or 8 KMs away and it's 20kph speed limit with cameras on the front.
There is a separated cycle route as well.
We dumped the bike by the station right outside the TO which we try to use for parking of ebikes or motorbike.
There was some zeppelin memorabilia as I believe they fly a zeppelin but more research required and a museum.
There's a really pleasant park where the front has swans and cygnets in front of a pirate ship and the simple but effective water jet being blown as far as the shore but not overly windy.
Boats cross over the lake and presumably take vehicles looking at the shape of one we saw. Austria to the left and Switzerland straight across are the views from the harbour perched berg about 30m high.
As expected the front is adorned with restaurants and ice cream parlours which were reasonably priced at 6.50 for one of those huge spaghetti type delicacies but we have pizza at home to save ourselves for.
