Because we were staying nearby this was always a secondary hit.
But we both sort of fancied it. Something about growing up with Ralph Macchios teacher looking after his bonsai tree.
It's a fair bit up the hill from Seeboden, further than we thought but not a problem for a motorbike but you could get suckered in on an ebike or God Forbid non electric power
But there is a lovely stream with lovy coloured flowers trying to hide a couple of non working watermills as you go up. It is well signposted but limited parking. A motorhome would be ok but early I would suggest but there may be alternative nearby parking. We didn't look.
Pop in and pay your 12.50 or present KC but if you're staying locally there is a discount for Millstatt card holders. Think it was 15%.
A view of the map and basically follow the path.
We thought it was really good and well presented. Probably wasted on a couple like us but we did try to appreciate it.
Some of the bonsais up to 100 years I had to ask Paula to be in the photo as they looked like normal trees through the shutter.
They are about 2 foot tall to give some perspective.
Even more astonishing to me was the cost of a 6 inch potted bonsai tree that is about the same size of Mr Myagis (just remembered his name).and they were 25 euros. I thought that was cheap. Quick look at how to import put pay to that idea but I might take more notice in UK if I see one.
