Were we pleased to find this aire.
Right little stunner next to the bouledrome with free water, dumps and free to stay overnight. Leccy available which costs a jeton but no idea how much a jeton lasts or the cost of it.
Allegedly 11 minute flat walk on the unbelievably quiet road but we made it in 9.
There is currently some road subsidence with a concrete passing point which is marked up at 3.5 tonne and we will go out that way.
What is really pleasing is there appears to be a flattish cycle route to Seillans as we didn't have the best of times parking to see this Beaux village. Also noted is the route it takes which is alongside a road. This is back and beyond country so the only thought that crosses my voie vert infested mind is that it may well be a disused railway line as it joins up with a cycle route at Seillans at "le chemin de gare" which goes to fayence. We ll find out tomorrow.
The town/village just urges you to have a beer. It's heavily pedestrian orientated and so much so that within 20 seconds both Paula and I were halting traffic as we just meandered across the roundabout fountain
There is no tourist information office but I can really recommend chatting to the 2 stunning credit agricole staff opposite where it used to be if they are on a fag break.
No PMU but there is an obvious local bar and cheapest beer we have found in France for some time at 2.70 for Jupiter.
You can sit opposite on the chairs outside the restaurant. It was a hive of activity there with several cars just stopping for a chat with beer drinkers.
Views across the valley as well as lovely fountains
In other news there is an old railway line cycle route. It follows minor roads that were probably railway line. It is not segregated. It goes from draguignan to Cannes and has its own thread

And David Beckham lives just above where we are ! (Sometimes)
