It's a beaux village that we haven't been to before and within 5 km in easy roads from Cucuron and about 9 from Cadenet on undulating nice roads.
It is possible to park mh at the bottom car park but take great note of the no motorhomes past this point sign if you decided to go up the hill to the town. It would not be a wise move.
The town promised something on arrival and we parked the bikes in a car park which only allowed 90 minutes stay and we headed towards the 13 euro entry chateau. No pics ! But enjoyable visually pleasing walk as would be expected with views available from outside the church
The church, I was under the impression was used in either jean de florette or manon des sources. At this stage I am ashamed to admit I have seen neither, yet I know they are classic provence and I will watch them upon return. But upon looking up Yves Montand church on Google it is actually the church scene sitting outside on the stone bench at Vaugines, which we passed earlier. So we would have to do a return visit.
But the interior of this church is one of the best. Really impressive and regular journal readers will know we go in far too many as atheists.
More town walking with prettiness in abundance
We then located the advertised extraordinary free museum with a 4 euro entry sign. A bit disappointed as there was 50 years of collections of underwater stuff which I fancied having a mooch at. But 4 euros is 8 for the pair of us and it was never going to happen
We thought about a beer here but decided the bars didn't offer a view worthy of our euro.
