Cobleland. Legendary site. Stayed here in a tent in the 90s and the whole site was swaying round 2 guys with guitars playing Oasis songs. Now that we are old gimsters ..its still a joy. It has a sauna (book online) a relaxed check.in policy...whenever. Pitches in the woods. Pitches by the river. Pitches in the meadows. A bike tool station where Fatmrg went all dewy eyed over the free use of allen keys (why are they called Allen keys ?) A selection of screwdrivers , pliers and spanners. Dug spoiling station. A coffee cabin. A bairns playground . This we worried about initially as we were pitched beside it and were concerned about shrieking. Actually all the bairns were a delight . Hats off to the mammies.
There are fabulous walks all round. The Black Bull is a mile away, and has a good selection of beer.
