You know when you park up you need to check whether you need ramps or not? We used to put a little two way spirit level on the kitchen worktop to find out. Then i had to get back into the driving seat and move the vehicle. Massive cheap upgrade! I made sure we were level and the, using a hot glue gun I stuck a round plastic disc on the dashboard making sure the spirit level still showed level. Now when we park I just put the little orange triangle level on the round plate and drive up the ramps. So easy!

Strangely the last thing I want is for ours to be level.

I prefer a slight tilt to the front shed water 😊

We use a can of beer on the worktop it soon rolls to the low side, probably more accurate than a tiny spirit level
Probably can’t glue that in the dash 🤷🏼‍♂️

wouldnt the beer just spill out ..... theres no such thing as a beer can out of the fridge that hasnt been opened ,,,

Its obviously "The Effort" of making the van level that counts more than the end result.
I cannot count the times I have seen so many Van Drivers get the leveller ramps out, place under designated single wheel or wheels front or rear, normally with very helpful partner guiding the driver up the ramps, bit more, bit more....STOP!
Driver shouting out OK,OK that will do! I aint movin no more! Burn the bloody clutch out at this rate!
I kid you not in most cases the van seems less level now than before they started, but at least they had a go, and now they can sit and blame each other in the tried but yet again failed attempt.:giggle:;)

We just use the Truma app, once you’ve input your size just sit your phone on a flat surface and get the ball as close to centre.

We use the, will we roll out of bed, will the wine stay on the table, will the shower drain, but usually just open fridge door if it does rapidly swing one way or the other it's fine. Bigger bugbear is side to side, we sleep top to tail, i get by with an extra pillow if my head is a bit downhill, John would struggle though.

I always try to be a bit downhill to the back so the shower drains, never wanted to be level in any van I've had.
The best indicator is the washroom door, if when swinging free it points to the bottom of swmbos bed then it's spot on.

I got 2 of those tiny spirit levels but they didn't agree with each other!!!!!!
Basically the smaller a spirit level is the more likely it will be wrong and as they come from china no wonder.
I just looksee these days.

and using the same train of thought, once you have discarded a few of the said levelling items, you probably pretty much wouldnt even notice, so Marie-Claire. your comment is a valid pint well made ... (spelling mistake intentional ...)

I set the hydraulic lifters on auto and have a wheelchair user for fine tuning it takes just as long as the ramps did but I stay dry .....

The van likes;

Shower, sightly nose up and near (left) hand side down, for good drainage.

Kitchen sink, slightly nose down and level across, for good drainage.

The frying pan, perfectly level so that the oil doesn't collect in one section.

The fridge, needs to be as level as possible.

Me? I just look and park where it looks OK, and that's it, it's parked!

I have no levellers or automatic systems.

Park, jobs done.

We use the Yescapa phone app… and place the phone in the kitchen sink as a guide

I imagine that those of you of a certain generation, will have heard the fairy tale relating to the "Princess and the Pea"?

Well, not only is my wife similarly fussy with regard to the smoothness, and all round comfort, of her mattress, if the MH is anything less than absolutely horizontal, in all planes, then she will be unable to get a good night's sleep.

It has been a pain in the backside for as long as we have been in the MH holiday business, but sadly the expense of hydraulic levelling devices has never been within my remit, . . . . . . . apart from which the added weight would have meant that SWMBO would have to take less shoes, handbags, and frocks, . . . . . . . . another pain in the backside !

I have written my own app. Put in van dimensions and sizes of ramps (once). Then it tells you where to position ramps and how far to drive up each one.

We use the sliding van door. If it stays half open without sliding we're level enough.

You're supposed to place his pillow under his head not on top, no wonder he struggles! 😆

Don't own levelling blocks.
We mostly wild camp, both urban and countryside.
Haven't rolled out of bed yet! 👍

Edit: Just realised I've unintentionally created a Haiku! 😀
