What are you up to this weekend?

Barrie's already at Shrewsbury Folk Festival with Stuart (Captain Pugwash) where they're teaching the ukulele workshops to a couple of hundred musicians!

I'm hoping to join them on Sunday :-)

(y)Hello Jim, Tina and I are hoping to get to Blackpool for the annual walk along the prom and fish and chips on the pier weather permitting, have a good weekend everybody.

We are off to Burnham on Crouch for the weekend part of Burnham week at the RCYC. The dinghies just do the weekend - meeting up with a whole load of sailing buddies for a weekend of sailing socialising and more socialising..... Camping behind the yacht club which also has EHU. Not sailing myself but am official trolley dolly (with the worst legs in the business) looking after the launching and recovery of the boats as the slipway doesn't have a lot of room...... Leaving shortly.

Heading to Knockhill racing circuit for the British Touring Cars Championship with my grandson (14) who's entered in the karting racing. Here's hoping he does well because there's nothing worse than a teenager having a strop and his mother and father too far away to hand him back to!!

Off to Dunsfold Wings n' Wheels tomorrow to see the Vulcan, amongst other sights.

Then spending the rest of the weekend making our partly re-landscaped, and unfinished, garden look a little better. Have a lot of garden waste to take to the dump in Toby, our newly recommissioned '73 Series 3 Land Rover.

My 3 year-old daughter has been terrified of travelling in Toby for a long time as she thought he was 'too noisy, Daddy!'. After a lot of crying and terror last weekend (from her), I persuaded her into the passenger seat for a little drive and within seconds she was squealing with delight. Now she's asking to travel in him again. May as well make the most of it...

We are spending our last two nights of our tour here...

One of our rare stops at a campsite but probably my favourite site of all...

What a beautiful looking car Mo.

We have our village fete this weekend and as I am in the committee I will be helping out.
I will be on the burger stall so it's not all bad.:rofl:

We are not going anywhere this weekend but off to Cornwall the following weekend. If I was going somewhere then north looks good given the biblical downpour forecast for the Bank Holiday.

Also go to North Norfolk, but not expecting Broken Link Removed to be quiet. Off to see Status Quo.(y)

Us as well, staying at a quiet CL just outside Wells, hope the weather holds.

Nothing this weekend , one of the dogs has just had his ear operated on to remove clots, he's to have a quiet few days plus it cost us 350 quid so skint:D Next Sunday start our journey down to Devon with our daughter but I'm convinced after a couple days in a motorhome with us thst she'll get a train home.
