I recently fitted a chassis mounted cycle carrier, so have removed and am selling my Thule Bike lift, i converted it to fit Fiamma top and bottom rails, so it fits onto a motorhome with Fiamma rails. I converted it by replacing the Thule top fixings with fixings from a Fiamme bike rack, the tubes are actually the same size, its just the 'hook' type fixings that differ. i added bottom Fiamma fixings, secured using aluminium square section and stainless steel u bolts.
it will be returned back to a Thule rack, though i will include the bottom rail 'additions' so all you need are the two top arms from a Fiamma rack. Ii will come with the Thule bottom bracket should you have Thule fittings on your motorhome and the awning type winding handle to lower and raise the rack.
i made the bottom rail arms a little longer than needed as my next project (or one of them) was to attach a spare toilet cassette to carry on the rack, but never got around to making a suitable carrier to attach it to.
we are travelling to Manchester from Clacton on Weds 5th Feb, so could deliver 'en route' or meet in Manchester to save postage etc
I have listed it on ebay at a starting price of £300, but will accept £300 from a Funster if youre quick, before any ebay bids come in, as i got my chassis mounted bike rack from a fellow Funster at a reduced price. There is an identical bike rack (minus the Fiamma bits) on ebay for £500 so i think ours is reasonably priced.
any questions ....??
best wishes
