Our beloved 2001 Hymer B584 LHD
We’ve owned it since 2009 and are the 3rd owners
This is built on a Fiat Q18 chassis with 2.8idtd engine which has done
101089 miles and mot’ed November 2025
I’ve had the weight uprated to 3850kg (would need a C1 license), so gets the cheaper road tax(£165 at present)
6 metres in length
It had a new cam belt in August 2021 and new Hankook tyres in April 2021
I fitted EasyTop rear air bags on the rear axle and I fitted new front struts complete with uprated Kilen spring ( lifts front approximately 60mm)
It has 2 x 100watt solar Panels and Votronic 250duo Mppt regulator and 2 x 80amp Gel batteries under the front seats and a 600 pure sine wave inverter.
All internal lighting has been changed to LED’s using the original light fitting.
Has plenty of 13amp sockets and usb’s
Water heating is via a Truma boiler which working off gas or electric, blown air working off gas
Additional 5kw diesel heater fitted.
11kg Gaslow refillable gas bottle
It has a 3 burner hob and an oven and a Electrolux 3 way fridge.
The interior has 3 travel seats and a side settee,
I’ve had the table professionally cut and modified so it folds down and the original extension now lives in the wardrobe.
There’s a good sized washroom with shower with bifold screens
We had a new IKEA foam mattress in 2024 and in 2020 I fitted uprated gas struts on the bed.
On the roof it has Tracvision satellite dome and a Poynting WiFi antenna (no router) and a folding ladder on the rear to access the roof.
For security it has a Vanbitz Growler alarm with accessory loop to protect items on the cycle rack and removable steering wheel
Also dead locks on the drives and habitation doors
It has a towbar and a Fiamma Ultrabox on the rear cycle rack
It’s not perfect having lacquer peeling off the bumpers and some age related cracks in some of the internal
It will have it original number plate
Comes with Silverscreen winter windscreen over with privacy front panel
and a porch awning
