That’s all the equipment and Fixtures I can think of.
The Motorhome is in excellent all-round condition throughout. All appliances and equipment function perfectly in all modes… gas, 12volt, 230volt… windows and blinds are undamaged function well, and not even a single window-catch is missing or broken. The Oven is brilliant… so says my wife who is a passionate cook. The Fridge freezes down to minus 15c even in hot weather. The convection/blown space heating is super-efficient even in the coldest weather. All doors hinges and catches work properly. There is not, nor ever has been, any sign of damp. All upholstery and curtaining is clean and damage free, the very generous seating and bed are very comfortables. Generally, minimal signs of use throughout.
Mechanically the van is superb. Well maintained with copious service history and the powerful 2.8HDI diesel engine delivers all the power needed, even on hilly roads. The Cam-Belt and Water Pump were replaced in November 2023 at 30,658 miles. Recently Serviced.
We bought this motorhome in Nov 2023 after months of tracking down this particular model with this particular engine… smaller engines being too underpowered… from a dealer who Warranted it and had provided a full Habitation Check. In addition, I contracted an independent company to undertake an exceptionally thorough and detailed pre-purchase check, and the van passed with flying colours. I particularly asked the inspector to look for structural corrosion and he found none. I still have the copy of this inspection, carried out by WWW.carexamer.com… whose reviews are outstanding, and can provide any potential buyer with a copy. The van has, since purchased, been parked on our well ventilated gravel drive when not in use. I also invite any interested buyer to look up the registration number on the govt mot website to examine its clean mot history.
We have had great fun with it but have found it just a little to large for our very tight drive, which would be fine for either the motorhome or our car on their own, but requires surgical precision to fit both vehicles side-by side, risking painful damage. The car gets in and out with only an inch to spare on either side. Also… our car is a very narrow one, an Audi A2, but as it is 22 years old it’ll need replacing soon and whatever that replacement will be, it’ll be wider and just will not fit alongside this motorhome. That’s why we are selling.
Any further info or photos required… just ask
We are currently carrying on as normal and, as we are retired, will be using it until it’s sold. We in fact are just about to set off in it on 2 week holiday in Pembrokeshire. If you are interested, if you can’t come to us we might be able to come to you… depending on where we are holidaying.
Location…4 miles outside of Cockermouth in NW Lake District.
