My Black & Decker workmate is now around 40 years old and beyond fixing. Doesn't owe me, or my father (it was his) anything. Can anyone recommend a good replacement?

I had to replace my 40 year old one a couple of years ago, genuine B&D still seems about the best for DIY but not as good as the old ones. Cast heavy aluminium frame now replaced with lightweight pressed steel.
