On taking Jim`s suggestion re more local rallies.
I have negotiated holding a Rally meet at New Romney Kent light railway TN28 8PL 19th --to --21st September 2014 however this will be limited to only 15 Motorhomes. Hard standing, fresh water available and toilets. Easy access for all vehicles. sorry no hook up available.

I will need Funsters who are interested in making definite booking for this weekend so i can discuss further goodies .

We have nothing planned for that weekend and are interested in attending.
Brisey.

Bit further than would normally travel for a weekend but I can let you know in another fortnight, as it is in the region I am really keen on getting to know..... I don't want to stop anyone else going though if numbers limited... Will you put me down as a possible, please.. many thanks.

Would have loved to come on this meet but it clashes with an already booked time away

That would fit in well for me, I am looking into returning from France that weekend so could easily get a ferry back on the Friday morning & drive to the rally.

Please put me on the list. How do we book??:thumb:

Right that's it Joy getting other local Funsters to make a list up of where you can stay and visit local points of interest. :thumb: however you can just park up and play with your computer.:Rofl1: somewhere, that will past the time in Kent sunshine..
,

Hope you can do it again next year - I've traced my family back to 1765 living in Dymchurch and I'd love to visit the area.

As this is my first attempt in Rally Marshal and organising i will see how this pans out and how general manager of railway views the meet.

Good straight forward drive from Dover docks, approx 45 min drive. now that several people have replied i will further post the booking details next week, this will allow me to negotiate the weekend options available.::BigGrin:

Thanks for that. I will be on tour in France/Germany from next Monday for about 4 weeks so if I do not respond during that period it is because I have no internet, please keep me on the list.

beach and town centre in opposite directions but easy walk within 20 mins . catch the train to Hythe station, then pleasant canal path walk into town centre for shops and fish and chips, then beach for ice cream
