I've still got my Raleigh Grifter that had a well comfy seat and I rode that all day for years !
It matches your initial description on ebay ,however could trump it as it has twistgrip gears, so could well fetch a bit more!

And the OP's bike looks well spec'd for the money, nice Gator skins as well.

I went to someones house a few months back (parents of my daughters friend) and the father had 12 road and MTB in the shed, said he gets board, buys another and can't bring it upon himself to sell them, there must have 20k of bikes in there

Yep Mike, I couldn't believe how fast the bike sold. He phoned this morning for directions, turned up, saw it and in his boot it went - he was well chuffed.

Now, worked on Mair to allow me to buy my new Nikon D7100 "I could have if I managed to sell the bike" was her words.

Just have to learn how to use it then....... If you know what I mean.
