Thetford C260 not working (1 Viewer)

Hi just bought a Suite Mini and the Thetford toilet does not work nothing happens when you press the button, I also am at a loss as to where the water is actually fed for the toilet as there is no separate fill point for the toilet, could anyone please help, thanks, John.

Hi & welcome! When we had a Chausson the light circuit (on control panel) had to be switched on for the toilet flush to work. Think that the water comes from your fresh water tank so same supply as taps - this means nowhere to add flushing chemicals so using a separate spray with your chemical of choice helps keep it fresh.

The Thetford loos can have a problem with the push button for the flush. You have to carefully peel back the vinyl "label" to access a small circuit board which has a chip on it (God knows why, it's only switching on a pump ?) I think the replacements are under £20, but you might want to check the fuse that's up inside where the cassette goes and sometimes the on-board pump seizes up too.

On our motorhome the water pump switch needs to be on for the toilet to work.
