Replacement motorhome windows (1 Viewer)

Hi
This is my first post and I'm struggling to find an answer elsewhere, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a 1995 Ford Transit Autosleeper Amethyst in need of two side windows. I've contacted various companies, including breakers but so far no joy.

Thanks GeoffnDee I've tried them and they can't help. National Caravan Breakers requested details, which I sent but they couldn't help either. I'm was thinking of selling the motorhome anyway because of health issues but it will be now at a bargain price for someone handy who can tackle the job of replacing them as a project. It's in perfect running order otherwise. Shame.

I've been in touch with so many companies I've forgotten what Eeco said ... I'll get back to them.
The windows are double skin Perspex stuff

Hello Frank and welcome , you could also try <Broken link removed> if you have not already , even if you do decide to sell they may have them as I believe they also have Motorhome stuff. (They may not be linked to the National breakers)

Eeco made a new one for my 1995 Compass by using my returned broken window @ £295 + VAT.
It fitted perfectly.

Make: Compass
Model: Navigator 360
Year: 1995
Size (mm): 1520 x 620
Glaze: Double Glazed

It's a big 'un. This is the broken one

Normally you will see on one of the corners a name and a number ie: Seitz or Bofours that is the size you require

Recently had to replace a large panoramic side window that eco couldn't do
Ordered a new one giving name and number from window £235 + dreaded.
10-12 wk delivery though

Eeco will need the original broken window to make a mould to produce a new window, if it’s Perspex.

If you had it damaged say by whatever means depending on you insurance windscreen (also covers other windows) you maybe able to claim.
I had one damaged a while back on classic camper side window. Mobile windscreens sent 2 guys down from Bristol branch to take glass away with them, I made up a ply blank covered in crashmat. They sent it to eco and returned 2 weeks later with replacement which was oversize but a bit of fettling with a wood plane and it fitted a treat.
Eeco charged them over £400 it cost me £50 wS excess

I think this “club” is all about helping each other and finding answers to problems that you encounter and posting them, regardless of how long it takes to find the solution!
