Well thats me brand new now. My skin feels like silk and all my aches and pains have gone, alas I feel it will only be a temporary measure. Went to the world famous healing mud baths at Pomorie today and I can recommend the experience whole heatedly. Has anyone else tried the treatment.

This was in Dalyan Turkey a few years ago.

I came across a beautiful woman who was stuck up to her neck in one of those mud baths, she pleaded with me to help her get out, being the opportunist I am I winked at her and said "if I do get you out, what's in it for me", she quickly replied "Mud".

Am just a bit worried about the claim that it increases fertility. The last thing I need is cook taking maternity leave .

A good few years ago Martin Id say.
1991, don't know if they are still there, we jumped in the mud before they told us that the showers weren't working:LOL:

Yes they're still there Martin, the thermal springs of Sultaniye on the edge of Köyceğiz Lake close to the ancient Lycian ruins of Kaunos.

Hoardes of tourists arrive daily from Marmaris and Fethiye to be taken to the springs.

Don't know how much it has all changed, we got a boat from Marmatis and then waded ashore to get onto the small boat up the freshwater delta.

Went there a few years back by boat from Icmeler had a good day out and fell on top of a big fat lass after trying to pick her up big mistake she couldn't stand up in the mud it took 3 of us to get her out :) and then we were hosed down by 2 lads with fire hoses .

I was in Dalyan 16 July to sell our plot of land in the village of Çandır which is on the same side of the river as the tombs at Kaunos. Stunning views towards İztuzu Beach and Gokbel on the other side of the delta.

Fortunately, Dalyan hasn't changed too drastically in the last 15 years due in part to the efforts of June Heimoff with assistance from David Bellamy who convinced the Turks not to develop İztuzu Beach into an upmarket resort. Its one of the few remaining nest sites for the loggerhead turtle.

Having said that, I did notice that English Breakfasts seem to have found there way there from Marmaris. :(
