Mini Oven does anyone use one? (1 Viewer)

I have just got one of these for my neighbour and was thinking of getting one for use on EHU The built-in oven is almost useless, as most of them are. We can cope with the space it would take, but at 1500w it would need a 10 amp EHU. Is it more trouble than it's worth?

We used to have a tower mini oven with 2 solid hot plates on top as well. You couldnt have the rings on with the oven but that never caused my wife an issue. With the gas oven in our van in use as well she cooked a full christmas dinner including full turkey with 5 sides plus potatoes. We ran comfortably on 10 amps

We got a small camping oven from aldi about £20. Had it now about 4 years. It woks of 6amp
And cooks most of the meals we have.

Are oven is brilliant never had a problem with it. Cooked Christmas dinner in it easy.

If you get one make sure you get it from somewhere you can easily return it.
Most of them cook well but some of them the outside gets dangerously hot so not suitable for use in the confined space of a Motorhome.

I run it off my inverter to heat pies, chicken slices and similar.
It gets quite hot so you need to be careful. I built a cabinet for it.

I've ordered one from Amazon it's 1200w so not too hungry for power. I'll try it out next week, it can't be any worse than the gas one

I have one of these, it works really well, it also has a rotisserie and I was able to buy an attachment for the rotisserie which allows the placing of skewers on it for cooking kebabs. I'm very happy with it.

The oven arrived yesterday but it's too small so it's going back. We have a glass oven so we will try that on the trip next week.

We have a Quest 700w oven which works pretty well. However also have a Tower air fryer which has made the Quest pretty much redundant for us. Will probably sell it at one of the Rallys this year.

My little built-in oven is brilliant. I've used it several times for oven-ready meals and it seems to work better than the one at home.
