Having tried a few festivals with our motorhome last year we have found it's a great combination & a growing trend - festivals are not just for teenagers! Thought Funsters might like to try it out & some more festivals might add a bit of variety to our rallies & meets?
Mello Festival Motorhome Fun Meet ticket price:
Adults £50 each (normally £65) which includes entry ticket & camping from Friday 26 May midday until Monday 29 May 2pm. We will have our own allocated Motorhome Fun area so can be camped together (y) To book please PM (private message) me with your email so I can email the booking form to you (should be sent to me on Wednesday) which you then post to Mello organisers with your cheque - as this is a special offer it can't be booked via their website. There will be toilets & showers provided but sorry no dogs allowed other than guide dogs. As this is on an airfield large motorhomes & RV are welcome.

Sounds great and at a good price as well. Unfortunately the "no dogs" is a problem for me as I don't have anyone to dogsit for me.

We weren't sure if we could negotiate a discount at Sunshine as understand that it sold out last year as it has quite a following but happy that the organisers have been keen to welcome us Funsters! :) We're thinking about Upton Blues (y) - did contact the organisers of that too but couldn't get any special terms or dedicated area - it's run by volunteers & money raised goes to the local community so that's understandable. Think arriving early in a group worked well last year plus pitching a little way back so more chance of infilling with Funsters & that's what was suggested by the organisers for this year too.
 
Update on the booking form - not here yet but they haven't forgotten us :) so hopefully will be soon. They have had a huge demand for their website early booking offer so still catching up with that.
 
Now have first draft of the booking form - just awaiting confirmation on tweaked version & will be ready to email out :)

Think that's why we are a small & select group so far! :) It's annoying when rallies & meets clash but better to have too much choice than too little...
