Hi Y’all,
Anyone have experience of wilding areas around Loch Ness. We have our six weeks tour of Scotland sorted and have two nights open early April and would like to park up along North shore area if possible.
Recommendations greatly appreciated.
Kindest Regards
Trikeman. 😉

there are shallow lay-bys dotted along the north side of the loch however I would think there will be passing traffic noise with a few feet of you, all night

Go south side much better, the old military rd . BUT I would never stay near boleskine house and cemetery ( google it ) too much negative atmosphere when the sun goes down , but great to visit during the day .

As previously indicated, wild camping is not a great problem.
The wildlife certainly comes and finds you at certain times of year!
