Adria Twin 600SPB
Hello friends,

I got a brand new Adria Twin 600SPB around a month ago. All is good besides that I just noticed that 12v supply isn't working anymore on the living area. Fridge and lights work but the USB sockets and the 12v socket aren't working.

The display shows that the battery is 100%.

Can you think of anything that I should check? The troubleshooting guide in the manual hasn't been helpful.

Thanks!

First thing check the fuses in the distribution unit probably a single 10 or 15 amp fuse will supply the sockets & USB's.

Just a thought, did you check it with the ignition on/engine running? Some vans cut the 12v supply to domestic services (except fridge) with engine running.

Do you have a clue on which fuse could it be?
I can't really understand it from the the manual. The only 12v one is a 25A which looks ok from a visual perspective.

Also, the manual mentions a 12v main switch in the control panel but I can't find such a thing. There is only a switch for the light and that's it.

A one month old van......it's warranty job for your dealer to sort out.

I'd gladly go to the dealer but I'm in a trip around 1000miles from it and 200miles from the closest Adria service. Before making such a detour I'd like to try figuring this out myself (and it's also a good exercise to learn how the van works )

Good call! The problem happens with both the engine off and on. However I recall that the 12v supply was working also with the engine on.

When you press the “on” button for power supply do you get a click? Did you used to get a click?

I do in my Adria.

Which one is the power supply button? I the control panel I have the option to turn on/off the lights and that's it.

As an update, I connected the van to 230V and the USBs and the 12v sockets still don't work 🤔 the other sockets work though

Your display is different to mine, but I have on/off button that allows everything in the hab area apart from boiler, and fridge to be powered or not, and a water system to be on or off, but even this needs the power on first. When I select power on I get a noticeable click from the electroblock

looks more and more like the 12v supply fuse to the hab area. Find the 12v distribution diagram and check the right one by replacing or a volt meter, sometimes they dont look blown when they are,
OR, if you can trace a wire back from a socket check that and see if it has power for a loose connection maybe

To my understanding, that one just turns on the display 🤷‍♂️

Thanks, I'll keep digging to try finding the fuse. I had a look at the manual and I couldn't understand exactly what fuse does what but I'll research a bit more.

In the meantime, thank you all for your support 🙏

The 12v plug and usb point in the garage of our Adria never worked. The dealer said he spent hours on the problem but couldn’t fix it. I traced it back to a bad earth. The earth wire on the 12v feed to the garage had been incorrectly connected to a very light wire. I disconnected it and connected it to a thicker earth supply and it has worked ever since. Took me a long time to find the problem and about 30 seconds to fix it.

If you pm me I can email a copy of the Elektroblock manual. I’d check all the fuses there. It could also be the ones in the door panel behind the driver seat.

In the end I checked all the fuses. I checked them all and they seem all good. However, after checking (meaning pull it out and put it back in) the control panel wasn't working anymore. I indeed panicked and I checked them all again and I found the TV one broken. Not sure if it was broken before or it broke afterwards. All the others are okay (visually).

Now for some reasons when I turn the ignition on it makes a weird beep but perhaps it's related to the that fuse being out? It's time to have it checked from people that know what they are doing 🥲

Mines an Adria Sunliving 2022, originally had a problem with the fridge not working on 12 v maintain coupled with a screeching noise from Elektroblock and 2 amp fuse blowing.
Dealer fixed it, they thought it was a problem with the solar being wired into the Elektroblock 211 so they wired it completely independently. Been OK for 7 months, last week once again fridge wouldn’t work ( ok on EHU and gas ) and a whining noise from the Elektroblock which increased in tone when dipped headlights were on! I visually checked fuses and even replaced the 2 amp fuse which originally blew, no joy.
Sent videos to dealer they consulted Adria, now been told the Elektroblock 211 needs replacement. Due back to the dealer on 20th June.
I guess Shaud Elektroblok’s are not infallible.
By the way the manual is available on the internet, I’ve read every word!
I am hoping this is the resolution, after spending so much money the constant worry is sucking the enjoyment out of ownership of my dream.

There’s an isolator switch on the side of the passenger seat, you haven’t inadvertently knocked it to isolate the habitation batteries have you?

We’ve got a 2022 640 SLB, thinking about it the leisure battery supply comes into the back of the Elektroblock under the rear of the drivers seat - there are 2 positive wires there 1 each from the leisure and engine batteries - they are easy to see which is which - drop the access grill to the rear of the drivers seat base and you’ll see them at the rear lower closest to the drivers door.

This would be a good point to see if the leisure batteries are supplying power to the electroblock panel and prove everything up to this point - assuming you have a multimeter/12v bulb.

You can see this in the attached wiring diagram which is from a 2020 twin so the Elektroblock panel is different but it should give you an idea of where to look.

Also you can download a manual from the schaudt website specific to your Elektroblock - it might be in German though but a picture paints a 1000 words and theres also google translate to help
