Burrs country park in bury is a nice camc site if you like steam trains , there a station on the site , members get buy 1 get 1 free , the country park is good too , pub on site or another 10 minutes walk awayv

The Ribble Valley anywhere upstream from Salmsbury/Whalley.
Trough of Bowland always worth a visit.
Gisburn mart if you like farm livestock.
Paythorne, but only if eating at The Buck Inn ( tell Rachel I sent you)
Toss Side if you like country walks.
My house if you need a brew.

Clitheroe, for Booths, Sawley Abbey Grindleton and to Newton Road, Dunsop Bridge and Slaidburn for the walk over to Wray on Salter Fell road ( Track) If you want a night out with a difference there is a cinema, curling rink restaurant and crazy golf at Barton Grange oh and Brock Bottoms, be warned some of the roads in the Trough can be narrow and steep in places
