To be clear, do you mean it's leaking at the filler gun to Gaslow fitting interface or actually leaking from your bottle?gas leaks continuous from my bottle.

Did you lock the small clip into place which locks the lever etc?Between filler gun to the gas low fitting. Turn clockwise then pull back the lever and at that point the gas leaks out
I did have a similar issue at one garage but fine at all others. Maybe try another pump or garage?Between filler gun to the gas low fitting. Turn clockwise then pull back the lever and at that point the gas leaks out

Can be several things but that bottle is almost certainly out of date so personally I wouldn’t bother with it, just replace it for a new one.Hi
First time today trying to fill up at garage. Connected hose on bayonet connector, twisted and when pulling the leaver to lock gas leaks continuous from my bottle. Got helpful garage assistant to check I was not doing it wrong and she had same issue. All help and advice much…

If you mean the gas leaks between the filler gun and the filling point on the van - then that sounds like it could be pump related. In all our years, had one instance where the pump would do that and just didn't make the seal - damaged gun? missing seal? Who knows. We drove off and never had the same issue again.Between filler gun to the gas low fitting. Turn clockwise then pull back the lever and at that point the gas leaks out

Perhaps because he knows that type of bottle went out of production more than 10 years ago, I read this in another thread so it is not from personal knowledge. However that mysterious 2028 number needs explaining, I would check it out with Gaslow.
That’s not an industry accepted date , it’s 10 years on any gas cylinder or tank .

So, are you saying that the 15 x year date stamp on earlier Gaslow cylinders is incorrect, even though adhereing to the regulations................. at the time of purchase and installation? That’s not an industry accepted date , it’s 10 years on any gas cylinder or tank .
I think Gaslow used 15 years when other manufacturers interpreted the regulations differently. They came into line with the others at 10 years eventually. So, are you saying that the 15 x year date stamp on earlier Gaslow cylinders is incorrect, even though adhereing to the regulations................. at the time of purchase and installation?

Hi Paul.I think Gaslow used 15 years when other manufacturers interpreted the regulations differently. They came into line with the others at 10 years eventually.
A right muddle, I guess it is just down to one firm putting a different interpretation on the rules and then later changing their mind. I seem to recall that the valves also need replacing or servicing too but I don’t remember what the intervals are for this. As the op’s valve seems to have a problem this might force the issue.Hi Paul.
Yes, I appreciate that thanks, which would suggest to me that the 10 x year ruling is not retrospective to the 15 x year cylinders, as they complied with the rules at the time, otherwise Gaslow would have recalled them all.
That's my slant on it anyway. ,)
BTW, I cannot find the 10 x year regulations, relating to vapour take off cylinders/tanks for domestic use, but some years ago, I did come across UN regulations, which applied the 10 x year ruling to liquid take off cylinders/tanks............used for propulsion, ie, LPG powered vehicles.
Cheers,
Jock.

Just a couple of thoughts...
Is there not supposed to be some sort of Non Return Valve on the filler side?
The inner part of the fill points look very different on these two images.
