many many years! since I was a kid
Wow, that sort of find in that condition is like an Indiana Jones story. I love history especially where backed up with tangible evidence of archaeological finds. I have spent many happy hours studying the Roman finds in the museum in Caerleon in south wales

Living in SW Northumberland near Haltwhistle we are a stones throw from Hadrians Wall and all the main central Roman sites of Vindolanda, Housteads, Birdoswald to name but a few the history and archeological finds have always interested me.

I'm fascinated by archaeology.

My mum says I always wanted to be an archaeologist. I don't remember sayiing that, but she (now at 91) still does.

I always try to check out the Dolmen and other burial areas when we're traveling. It gives another interest to a trip.
