At home we like to use an electric BBQ/grill or whatever you want to call it. After the latest one gave up the ghost last week I bought the electric Cadac, what a brilliant piece of kit it is. Used it for the first time the other day to perfectly cook pork loin steaks. It’s compact and reasonably light and if sites are your thing then perfect for taking with you. It’s selling for £99 at Go Outdoors (possibly Blacks and Millets as well) which is considerably cheaper than elsewhere.

On 3rd van so not a total newbie....
Looks good, assuming you would use summer time, could be used off an inverter and plenty of solar/battery, unfotunately my inverter is only 2000w.....

Running this while on hook-up, you'd probably be fine, provided you have at least a 10 amp connection (and ideally more). It would pop the post breaker on a weaker 6 amp hook-up.

Running from battery via an invertor would be tough! It says it's 2.3kW. If you ran it at maximum, it'd pull roughly 200amps. You'd probably need multiple batteries to support that output. Chunking through 200AH per hour is a lot of juice!
