Data SIM not working (1 Viewer)

Purchased a 12GB data SIM 'go roam' for broadband devices from Three. Linked to firestick, tested on TV at home and Avtex TV in the van............all working perfectly. We tried to use it in France on several occasions, but could not get it to work. My very patient wife spent what seamed like an eternity on the phone to Three, who were almost dismissal in their attitude. Anyone got any idea what we are doing wrong?

Have you enabled “roaming” in the device the SIM is in ? They are usually disabled by default.

The device the SIM is in have you checked the APN is correct for roaming.

My money will be on the APN needs changing.
You will get the info from the providers website

Pretty sure we have set for roaming. Going to double check now.

I know on Smarty you need to change the APN for it to work on Roaming
On your Three sim are they charging per day roaming, Smarty uses Three but don’t charge per day.

I've had issues with my Huawei mifi while travelling in Spain (no Internet) using 3 data sim. Previously never had an issue with older mifi.
I checked the APN settings and found data roaming was switched off, I've now switched it on. We will see.
