Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
I don't remember hearing a cuckoo this spring. Are there fewer of them about this year?
Me neither and I usually do when walking the dog o'er hill 'n dale.
Unusually I haven't heard a single Chaffinch either.

why they keep on flying so far north I donā€™t know, maybe they eat midges šŸ˜
