Autotrail water heater (1 Viewer)

We bought a autotrail, when on hookup the water does not get hot. The heater button is in and illuminated, its also selected on the control screen. It heats up only when the heating is on. Has something blown?

Possibly the immersion element has failed you need to test for voltage at the immersion terminals

Check for another switch somewhere possibly under rear seats.autotrail has some randomly placed switches.
What model is it?

What autotrail do you have what year

Where is your water heat located?

I have a apache 700

Heater is in the u shaped lounge electric heater switch is in the cupboard at the bottom next to the heater

Parents have same but newer and these is in the bench seat in the middle on the van and switch is on the inward facing bench seat

634 is in the same location in the cupboard below the lounge seats

Do you have a button above the door which has water temp on ?

If on hook up make sure the button is centered, only use the temp setting for gas.

In our Tracker EKS there is a small 3 way rocker switch under the bench seat by the boiler.

Auto trail tend to fit abother switch close to the boiler, most are toward the rear at ankle level.
