No problem at all Dave, but dogs must be kept under control on the day the horse racing happens.

Haven't decided whether to arrive on Monday or Thursday, we haven't gone more than 4 days without hook-up before. How do others manage with a single battery and no solar?

:) They bring their wallet and buy some solar at the show.
Usually a few people get them fitted there or buy the fold up type.
Why not get a second battery fitted before you come ? that will double up on your capacity.
Remember it's mid summer and very light nights, as long as your not sat in watching Tv all night you dont use as much as other times...
There is often to much going on to be sat inside !!!!!

We can always hook you up to a genny if you deperatley need it, but due to the time of year, people use very little power seem to last the week easy enough (y)

Only 80W but you will beat a flat 100W as long as you move it with the sun.
Brian, you have to realise they come from Lancaster so they may not understand how the sun thing works due to rarely seeing it.

Oops. They are brave, aren't they. Will they be able to understand anyone ? Everyone will know who they are, you don't get many folk covered in Lancashire Blue woad in Stratford.

You'd be better off with a fixed panel on the roof and a second leisure battery than a large portable panel which you'll have to keep moving round to face the sun. We only have a 75w panel on ours and 2 leisure batteries and never run out of power, never use hook up and sometimes don't drive for a few days. If you don't stop in one spot for a week or so then just getting a matched second leisure battery on its own should meet your needs.
