I did not notice this section before. My lovely wife let me buy a motorbike again for my 68th birthday. At the moment I have it stored in a friend's garage but it needs to be moved. I live in north Bolton/Darwen. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Am I right to guess you don't have a garage in which to securely keep the bike?

If so, but you have drive/outside space, you can get secure storage solutions such as "Bike Safe", if they are still going (not to be confused with a rider training scheme of similar name).

I bought one second hand about 10 years ago when my then Victorian house was devoid of garage for this purpose, my then insurance company recognised it as a garage, but you should verify with your insurer. Other manufacturers may be available...

We are not allowed to pass over land at the back to gain access to our garden (complicated) and the front door opens out onto a main road. It would just be wonderful to rent space in an enclosed garage.
