Do you get fed up with unblocking the two tiny drain holes either side of the windscreen scuttle? Water collects from the windscreen creating two pools. I have found an easy way to unblock them and keep them free of debris.

I have inserted two cable ties, one in each drain. The ties are just large enough to pass easily down the drains whilst the head of the tie is too big to go down. I have found doing this reduces the blockages. Also, when a blockage does occur, it's just a matter of "twizzeling" the head to free the blockage instantly. The fact that the tie is in there also prevents any large debris from entering the drain hole.

Excellent tip ludo. The large drain in the middle section on X250 can also get bunged up with leaves etc. What I have seen a couple of times when people use corks under the wipers to stop them from sticking but forget they are there. The corks then end up blocking the large drain, to avoid this whilst using corks put a cocktail stick through them then they won't get stuck
