I removed our fixed table a couple of years back.
It was replaced with a Fiamma Island table kit and table top from Rainbow Conversions.
I wouldn't sell the original table though. It has to be replaced for the odd occasion when we need all 6 berths.
Plus at resale time, nobody will want a van with half the original parts missing.

Looks very good ....you realise this has just added to my things to do list as I have a big table in mine that I rarely use but is designed to be part of the middle bed
Yes mine was but we decided it will never be used as a three berth. I can get to all the cupboards now, should have done it straight off

Andi,

What is the measurement of the table tops, I can't find them in the Ikea catalogue. I am just planning to do a similar thing.

I may be wrong but I think they are bamboo chopping boards, sold in the ikea kitchen department, 2 sizes, £9 or £12.

If I'm right it's too sad that I know ikeas stock so well....way too many hours of my life wandering around ikea cardiff, lost searching for the exit.

Why only £160 are you paying them?
Because I can buy 2 for £180 on ebay ....its common practice at work to buy the lads a few cases of beer for any homers done so it will save me £160 if they can make the brackets .....The poles aren't a problem , im hoping to have the satin anodised black as well :)

I am sure that those brackets are what are underneath the table on my boom arm table and I have a cup which is floor mounted to take the bottom of the arm and a bracket with a hole in it higher up through which the leg of the arm goes.

Nice idea Andy.. and good quality legs..

have ordered one leg to try.. and two chopping boards from Ikea

and if suitable will order another leg for the other side..

there are cheaper.. but as in all things.. you get what you pay for..

Boom arm (£89) table mod Rapido7090F

Wife always complained of a lack of space with such a big table so out it came finally.
I angled the bracket for the table top (Ikea chopping board £8)
CA_08131412171590-XL.jpg

So that it fits square to the cushion when used as a side table.

The angle also makes it spot on to the seating position when swung around.

So much more space !!!!!!

Your seats look great, are they original Rapido leather seats or did you have them recovered? If you have had them reupholstered can I ask who carried out the work? Cheers

Cab seats are recovered fine but the rest is shite so I offer no recommendation. They are good at car seats full stop
