I think in most cases you're better off looking up the data for your appliance! Whoever heard of a clothes washing machine that only uses 250W ?

Not saying that such a thing doesn't exist somewhere, but folk could be very mislead if they thought that was typical.

But that's a "travel washer". My point is that unless the list is clear, comprehensive and unambiguous folk might rely on it rather than actually checking what their appliance actually uses. A conventional washing machine with water heating elements will use much more.

Well it is a travel inverter ....not many people take a full size washing machine with them.

I suppose they're relying on common sense
