Hi again,

Might as well ask again about another little problem.

The little light on the Thetford toilet stays on permanently. From talking to others it could be due to a problem with the reed switch and advised to change it. Looked at the wiring and there does not seem to be any easy connections. Not sure if it is worth the bother or just to ignore it.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did they resolve it?

Yes we had the same problem on our previous van. We were told the same thing too, change the reed switch to fix it. We never bothered as its only the full warning light in any event. Its easy to tell when your cassette is getting near to full anyway, its only a LED so hardly draws any power.

Many thanks for all the replies!

Decide to just ignore it, as like many others I look to see how full the cassette is and never let it get too full.
