I refuse to get drawn on these knob jokes.

I did however once have a whole steering wheel stuck down the front of my trousers. That drove me nuts all day.

I'll get me coat...

When I used to roll up a ciggy on the motorway, I just "steered" with my knees.

Was going to say a knob wasn't needed but thought better of it...

JJ

And that was safe driving was it?

I remember making a cup of coffee in my t4 vw towing my 24 ft caravan down the m6 with my 12v dashboard kettle!

Terrible I know but I hadn't planned too......It just took so long to boil I'd passed the lay by 20 mins earlier and needed my caffeine :p

Well so far I've had two occassions where playing with my knob was appropriate and to my relief I was completely satisfied.
I'll be keeping it. It doesn't get in the way so much so that I forget to use it

I think quite a few of us were guilty of this if the truth be known:whistle:

Did tens of thousands of miles a year, never stopped to roll a smoke and smoked like a chimney, always steered with my knees but erred on the side of caution and always slowed down to no more than 90 mph while knee driving. :getmecoat:.

Taxi. :imoutahere:

Sorry Techno, hate to say, but to me your knob looks horrible.. (n) it would be more at home on a fork lift truck..

Surely it gets in the way when steering normally .. ie push pull .. feeding wheel through your hands method?

and if you remove it .. will it not leave a permanent mark ?

Was a newbie, now a Middie.
When I removed mine on a couple occasions it left more than a mark.

It left an Amy and a Ben...

JJ
When you removed it, did you drop the nut into the foot well?? :)
