We are looking for a site with a pool to set up our 8mtr MH for 12 nights from 18th August this year.
We will hire a car for sightseeing etc.

We have found these on the caravan and camping website and would welcome any comments from anyone who has used them recently.

La Foret near Rouen
Les Mouettes near Dieppe
Le Clos Cacheleux near Abbeville.

Or any site recommendations in the same area.

Thanks

Steve

I would also recommend Neuf chattel en bray. Very well run site close to Abbeville and Rouen. Supermarket and fuel nearby.

We were at Clos Cacheleux a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it - massive pitches, lovely countryside and very friendly owners. There are two main areas of pitches, and we chose the one straight up from reception. Having walked around the whole site, this was definitely the better choice for us as the other, larger, area was much more crowded. They also own another more commercial site on the opposite side of the road. Wouldn't have wanted to stay there, but we had a good meal one evening at the restaurant. Very French! (which is just what we wanted).

Seeing that your MH is 8m, definitely avoid the lower pitches and go for one of the biggies - you'll have space a-plenty!

Thanks, we booked that one yesterday. So we should try and find a large pitch near to reception?
