- I am a Newbie to motorhomes but have caravaned for years
I have just bought a BJ Micro Max trailer for our VW UP . I am towing it home tomorrow empty. I find the lockable hitch a bit of a pain as you need three hands to put it on or remove it, so was wondering if it is possible to fit an Alko stabiliser /towhitch to ease the connection? The trailer tows very well empty with no effect on consumption but thought the Alko hitch may help stabilise as well.
