My Mum and step father are travelling up to meet us in Kent to go over to France next week.

They are coming up the M4 and are looking for a stop somewhere off the M4 on the English side of the Bridge.

They are talking about stopping at services but I am not keen on that.

Any ideas for a night stop?

Only criteria really is that it needs to be close to the motorway.

Thanks.

If they are in the Caravan Club there is a CL 2 miles off the M4/M5 intersection at Almondsbury

If they want to travel a bit further on, to J17, Chippenham turn off, 25 minutes will then get them to C&CC Devizes, which I can recommend.

Help with overnight stop

We use this one as a stop off going to the tunnel it is 148 miles from home we live in Pembrokeshire 4miles or so north of the
Cleddau bridge. it is a caravan club cl no electric £4 per night, you leave M4 J 18 onto the A46 Bath in 3/4miles turn left and site is a few hundred yards on your left.

Thanks, we have all been there but they think it's a bit too far off the motorway for them.

Yes thanks. I suggested that but they say it isn't far enough.

I will pass that on. Thank you very much.

They are setting off from very near to you - Hundleton just outside Pembroke.

Thanks all:thumb:

A quick walk with Google says I was thinking of The Barge Inn.
