My 2012 Autotrail was found to have some damp patches on the hab check.
As I am going away soon to Morocco and the dealers were shut over Christmas, Autotrail offered to book it in first thing after new year to have a look at it.

So last night, came up and parked on their car park and they took her in just after 8am this morning... The damp area around my heki skylight became an actual leak with all the rain at new year. :Sad:

So here I am sat in the "customer waiting room" while it's being looked at.
The Heki I think is being taken out and re-sealed. However the damp on the side wall needs more investigation so we have scheduled a return trip for April but it then has to be left for 2 weeks.!:Doh:

I have secured the location of the local cafe on the industrial site, so off for a big breakfast about 10.30ish... Also the nice man from the "I.T." dept has turned on the router so I have free wifi access.:thumb:

Yawn... only about another 6 hours to go...

Bored of Grimsby.... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Heki lights need to be resealed regularly - due to their size, and the flex
of the body, they will leak fairly easily - moreso in motorhomes.

Try and get it done every couple of years to keep it fresh and flexible.

In theory maybe and good advise but should not be expected in a van under 12 months old... My old van was the same make and model 2005 version. Build quality was a lot more robust.

Anyway, I have found the cafe and just had a great full english for ÂŁ3. :thumb:

I emailed the dealer before Christmas and luckily penciled in Autotrail on the email. Autotrail came straight back to me and mentioned the dealer was shut for holiday..

Out of interest.. Leisure kingdom / Don amott of Derby STILL No REPLY .!!
I even sent it to 2 people there as last time they claimed not to have got the email.....
